Standard Answers

Is a payslip access window the same as record retention or deletion?

Employee access limits and the organization's retention duties must be decided separately.

How to apply the answer

A viewing window controls an aspect of employee access. The organization's archive, downloaded documents, backups and copies controlled by employees are separate subjects.

Decide why a limit is needed, when it starts and how employees will retrieve details later. Test the present access behavior, including what happens after the relevant period or after employment ends.

A short window cannot prevent photography or establish physical deletion of every copy. Code expiry, trial duration and statement access also need different explanations. Confirm exit and retrieval arrangements before relying on continued platform history.

Does time-limited access prevent copies or delete every record?

An employee access limit is not control over screenshots, photographs, downloaded PDFs or every retained copy. Review organizational archiving separately and verify the current expiry behavior. Avoid interpreting an older Auto-delete label as proof of complete physical deletion across all systems.

Can limited access or display settings guarantee no further sharing?

No such absolute guarantee should be made. Distinguish platform access, employee-controlled copies and intentional showing of the screen. Confirm which display controls currently exist, while treating screenshots, photographs and shared-device practices as separate organizational risks.
