Standard Answers
What if employees do not have a reliable email address?
Confirm a workable local delivery channel before adopting an email-based payslip workflow.
How to apply the answer
The currently published core workflow uses individual email. If most employees lack reliable access to it, channel suitability must be confirmed before rollout.
Ask about a currently available local alternative and test it with the employees whose circumstances are hardest to serve. App-free access does not mean messages can reach staff with no usable contact route.
If the organization requires full details directly in SMS text and will not accept links, record that requirement honestly. Do not use unrelated administration benefits to imply that an unverified route is provided.
Situations worth checking
- How should we test employee acceptance when moving from SMS text to payslip links?
- Is email-link delivery suitable for a factory that wants payslip details in an SMS?
- What should we prepare if the old payroll workflow has no employee contact list?
- Is SugarHR suitable when most employees do not have email?
