Standard Answers
Can we use our existing Excel payroll spreadsheet?
Use your approved Excel payroll file, then verify employee fields and individual previews before sending.
How to apply the answer
Keep the spreadsheet process that produces your approved results. The first test is whether the real headers, employee rows and recipient information can be interpreted and checked, not whether the workbook resembles a generic template.
Prepare a small version with the genuine columns and a few anonymized employee rows. Distinguish employee data from totals, notes and managerial sign-off areas. Check the period and employer identity as well as amounts.
Compare several personal previews against the approved source, including a same-name employee or unusual pay structure where applicable. Pause for missing contacts or ambiguous fields. A recognized file is not authorization to distribute every row without inspection.

How should an existing Excel file be prepared?
Use approved figures and a recognizable header and employee-data region. Check identifiers, periods and recipient addresses, keeping totals and sign-off areas distinguishable. A small structural sample helps diagnose parsing without unnecessarily rebuilding a workbook that supports the existing calculation process.
