Workflow Guides

Prepare an approved Excel payroll file for delivery

Prepare a small approved-file sample with clear employee rows, identifiers and recipient information before testing personal payslip delivery.

Before you start

Identify the authorized account, the employer and pay period, and the person who owns the input data. Use controlled sample information for a first test. Check the current account and supported interface where a setting matters; supplied older images illustrate a workflow, not every available configuration.

Steps

  1. Confirm the calculation is complete and identify the approved employer and period.

  2. Retain genuine headers and pay components while using sample or anonymized employee information.

  3. Keep employee rows distinguishable from totals, notes and manager-signature areas.

  4. Check each test person's identifier and address, including repeated names or changed contacts.

  5. Upload the sample and compare recognized fields and individual amounts against the source.

  6. Stop for missing fields or ambiguous rows; repeat after correcting the source before expanding.

Check the result

Stop for missing fields or ambiguous rows; repeat after correcting the source before expanding. Keep the observed result and any unresolved condition with the relevant account, period and record reference. A completed screen should not be used to claim a different event.

If something goes wrong

A missing header requires a structure check, not an automatic assumption that every column must be rebuilt. If quantities or tax still need calculating, return to the authoritative payroll process first.
